Comprised of SPIRE employees, the SPIRE Give Back Team is charged with providing support to local communities on many levels. We provide multiple ways throughout each year for SPIRE staff and members to give back to their communities.
One of the initiatives of the Give Back Team is raising funds to support charitable organizations. One simple way is SPIRE staff is given the option of purchasing a special T-shirt with the benefit of wearing jeans during the workday. On behalf of our staff, the Give Back Team donates thousands of dollars each year for charitable organizations including over $6,000 to the American Cancer Society during our Pinktober campaign each October. Other shirt fundraiser recipients have included Pain Free Patriots and Credit Unions for Kids.
SPIRE staff and members enjoy chocolate! World’s Finest chocolate bars are available for $1.00 in each of our branch locations and administrative offices. Proceeds of the candy sales benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. On average, SPIRE donates over $10,000 each year from Candy Bars for Kids sales.
Each year toy donations are accepted at SPIRE branch locations and administrative offices during the holiday season. The toys are then distributed locally by branch staff. SPIRE members and associates have donated thousands of unwrapped toys over the years for children and teens in need.
SPIRE is proud to give back .25% of every purchase made with a SPIRE Visa Credit Card to one of our partner organizations. Our members are able to select which of these organizations benefit from their purchases.
