SPIRE President/CEO Dan Stoltz is among eight new trustees appointed to The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library board of directors. The new members bring a wide range of expertise and experience to the organization, from government affairs to corporate strategy.
Stoltz has a long history of volunteerism and community outreach. He currently serves on the boards of the Ordway, Regions Hospital Foundation, Minnesota Credit Union Network, Alloya, and the St. Paul Police Foundation and lives in Lino Lakes.
“My passion is giving back to help build strong communities,” says Stoltz, “I am grateful to be selected to serve The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library in this capacity.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome these individuals,” says newly elected board chair Heather Anfang. “This is a class that really embodies the idea of the library as the center of social infrastructure.”
“In our 75th anniversary year, we look forward to the ideas and expertise of this new class of board members that will help move us toward our vision of a dynamic library at the heart of every community,” says Friends President Beth Burns.
Members are elected to a three-year term, which is renewable for up to three terms. The five new members complete a board roster that includes leaders from throughout Saint Paul and the greater metro area.
