SPIRE Promotes Two as AVPs of Relationship & Service Experience

SPIRE Credit Union is proud to announce two long-term SPIRE employees, Heidi Heroff and Mary Vonch, have each been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Relationship and Service Experience. In their respective new roles, they oversee SPIRE’s 20 branches and 150 front-line employees throughout Minnesota, assuring an excellent member service standard is consistently upheld. SPIRE has experienced record growth, and just completed the three strongest earnings years in its history, experiencing a 111% increase in members, and 97% increase in assets.

Heidi Heroff
Heidi Heroff is a 27-year SPIRE veteran with 22 years in management. An integral part of SPIRE’s growth and development, she has managed a myriad of changes and enhancements over the years. She started in the Contact Center when SPIRE was Twin City Co-ops Federal Credit Union. Heidi attended Mankato State University, is an active White Bear Lake Chamber Ambassador, and has served on both the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce and Timberwoods Resort Association Boards of Directors.

“SPIRE is my second home. My coworkers are like family to me,” says Heidi, “I am so grateful I get to do what I love each day!” Heidi enjoys spending time at the cabin, sailing, motorcycling, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and friends.

Mary Vonch
Mary Vonch has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial service industry starting at SPIRE just over six years ago as a Branch Manager in Princeton, MN. Her passion is to help members gain control of their finances and position them for financial success. Mary and her employees teach weekly personal finance classes at New Freedom in Princeton, an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center for adults and their families. She also recently helped develop a teen financial literacy class to help young adults gain a solid financial foundation. Mary also volunteers at Family Pathways Thrift store.

“I am thankful to be a part of the SPIRE team, whose sole purpose is to improve lives,” said Mary, “Work with a mission is so rewarding!” In her spare time, Mary loves spending time with her husband and adult children, grandson, and is looking forward to her newest grandson’s arrival in March 2020. Her favorite hobby is training and riding Arabian horses.

“I am so proud of Heidi and Mary! They are top-notch SPIRE leaders,” says Dan Stoltz, SPIRE President/CEO, “They are each driven by their passion for our mission, and deeply dedicated to serving our members’ needs.”
