Setting up alerts to detect and prevent fraud has never been so easy with technology today. Immediately knowing when suspected fraud occurs makes it easier to stop the fraud and prevent it from getting out of control.
You can set up alerts and notifications when your bills are due, when your food delivery is arriving and when it’s time to schedule an appointment, so why not set them up on your financial accounts?
How it Works
SPIRE offers several ways to set up alerts and notifications on your accounts and credit or debit cards. We are continuously updating and enhancing our alerts to provide the best experience for our members.
Some of the recent enhancements include setting up specific alerts for your card in our card management widget in SPIRE Digital Banking including balance thresholds.
You can also set up push notifications, emails, or text messages for when a transaction is made on your account, a purchase is made outside of United States, and for many more scenarios.
SPIRE also now provides automated fraud alerts provided by our fraud detection work center partner. You will get a text message or phone call to the mobile number we have on file when suspected fraud occurs.
What to Do
To make sure you are receiving the most up to date alerts, please make sure your contact information is updated on all of your financial accounts in SPIRE Digital Banking.
Then, go to the Alerts and Card Management widgets in SPIRE Digital Banking to set up your alerts.
