SPIRE staff have opportunities to give back to their community in many ways including providing financial literacy, participating in community events, and volunteerism.
SPIRE Give Back Day is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others. All SPIRE employees are eligible to receive up to eight hours of paid time to volunteer for an organization of their choice.
How SPIRE gives back
We care about our staff and their well-being. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have taken several measures to keep not only our members but our staff safe, as well.
As an essential workforce, we continue to follow CDC and local guidelines. Plexiglass has been installed at all of our teller windows and offices. SPIRE branches are being cleaned daily and we will disinfect after each transaction.
We continue to encourage all guests to wear masks inside our branch lobbies.
The SPIRE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council is made up of seven staff members with the task to advance diversity and inclusion within the organization by reviewing internal and external communications, onboarding and recruitment practices, and providing recommendations on improving the systemic culture and organization.
