32-year Retirement & Investment Professional Joe Johnston Joins SPIRE

Joe Johnston, a registered representative of Infinex Investments, Inc., joined SPIRE Credit Union as its newest Retirement & Investment Services Advisor. Joe is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Retirement Planning Expert with more than 32 years of industry experience. The addition to SPIRE’s team was necessary due to three years of unprecedented growth and earnings for Minnesota’s third largest credit union (by member size).

Joe is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas where he earned a degree in Business Administration and Aerospace Studies. His involvement in the community is far reaching. He is a former President of the St. Paul Optimist Club, Chairman of San Miguel Middle School, and University of St. Thomas Alumni Board Member. In 1997, Joe was the St. Paul Winter Carnival’s Festival Director, and in 1998 The Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 2001-2002, Joe represented the Midwest’s largest summer festival as the Minneapolis Aquatennial Commodore, and then served as their President in 2006-2007, and again in 2016-2017. He has given his time as a trustee for the St. Paul Jaycee Charitable Foundation and is a past Chairman of the St John the Baptist Catholic School's Advisory Council.  Joe will represent SPIRE as the Prime Minister of the 2020 St. Paul Winter Carnival Royal Family.

“I am so excited to join the SPIRE team and help our members reach their dreams,” says Joe Johnston, “I specialize in retirement plan design and implementation for those individuals who want to stop working and start living!” There is no charge for meeting with Joe to conduct a financial review.

“We are so fortunate to have Joe’s expertise on the SPIRE Team,” says Jim Ganger, SPIRE Senior Vice President of Relationship and Service Experience, “His many years of expertise will help guide our members into financial wellness far into the future.”
