This is How We Roll in October

Since October 2015, SPIRE staff have raised over $7,500 for the American Cancer Society to help find cures and treatments for all types of cancer. Again this year, staff had the option to purchase special shirts, polos, or tumblers to raise money for the organization.

The pink and white shirts will be worn Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help raise awareness of the continued need for research and treatments for all cancers.  In Minnesota alone, over 30,000 new cancer cases have been reported so far in 2019 by the American Cancer Society.

“As part of our core action to give back, 'Pinktober' has become a great tradition at SPIRE,” stated SPIRE President/CEO Dan Stoltz, "Everyone is affected somehow by cancer and I'm proud that our staff chooses to be part of the solution."

The annual Pinktober fundraiser is just one of several charitable opportunities that SPIRE staff and members participate through the SPIRE Give Back program. To learn more, please visit myspire.com/giveback.
