We Look Forward to Seeing You

We would like to start off by saying, "thank you." Thank you for trusting SPIRE and allowing us to serve you – sometimes in new ways. As we move forward, we want you to know that we are working every day to ensure the health and safety of all our members and staff - this is our TOP priority.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back into our branch lobbies starting June 8 with COVID-19 plans in place. The St Cloud and St Paul branches will remain closed for the time being as we implement a phased approach to our branch service channel.


SPIRE is committed to:

  • Providing Personal Protective Equipment for all of our staff including masks.
  • Cleaning high-touch surfaces according to the CDC’s guidelines.
  • Practice safe social distancing at all of our locations.
  • ​Installing plexiglass protective shields at our teller windows.
  • Providing contactless service options available including the SPIRE Mobile app, Internet Banking with chat, automated phone system, Contact Center, and of course, the drive-thrus.

We are beyond proud of the way our staff and members have responded to this pandemic. We invested in technology where we could get more employees working at home so they could be safe with their families while still working for our members. We saw record loan growth in April despite our lobbies being closed! We were able to get people into new homes and cars, but also refinanced many loans and credit cards where we could offer a better rate, and we helped more than 1,200 members with payment relief. And, we also surpassed 125,000 members in April!

​For the first time in SPIRE’s history, we launched SPIRE Gives BIG, an initiative where our employees got to select organizations in our community to receive a donation from SPIRE. SPIRE gave out $250,000 to 187 organizations!

We know you have lost something during this pandemic, our hearts go out to you and all our members. We want to make sure you're doing OK. If your income has been impacted by the pandemic and you need payment relief on your SPIRE loan, please contact us.

As we prepare to start reopening the lobbies on June 8, we will be posting regular updates to our procedures and anything else you need to know on myspire.com and our social media channels.
