2017 Annual Meeting
Attendance reached 3,735 guests on February 18, 2017 for SPIRE’s Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Day. A new record for SPIRE!
We were able to give back in a BIG way at our favorite event of the year! Over 160 SPIRE employees and volunteers were on hand to showcase our products and services, educate guests through seminars and be available to answer questions.
After our business meeting, the amazing (and record-breaking) Alana Nichols shared her story with us. A true inspiration for anyone, Alana overcame a spinal cord injury while performing a backflip on her snowboard, leaving her paralyzed at the age of 17. With her passion for sports and living life to the fullest, Alana transitioned to adaptive sports, becoming the first American female to win gold medals in both the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. Alana stayed late signing autographs, taking photographs and sharing her gold medals!
From all of us at SPIRE, to those of you who came, thank you for sharing your Saturday with us. Thank you for bringing food donations for Second Harvest Heartland, which provided 1385 meals. Thank you for purchasing 1000 candy bars to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. And most importantly, thank you for being a SPIRE member.
“At SPIRE we strive to improve lives every day. If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know. I look forward to seeing you at our 84th Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Day!” Dan Stoltz.
