SPIRE Credit Union has been honored with two 2018 marketing awards. Sponsored by the Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN), the awards program recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements within the Minnesota credit union industry.
SPIRE garnered recognition for their new long form video member testimonials, as well as the digital campaign, SPIRE Values Winter.
In 2018, expanding upon our long-standing and popular 30-second TV commercials, SPIRE produced long form video testimonials that were 2-3 minutes in length. The TV testimonials highlight members of varying ages, backgrounds, career paths and interests, and revolve around SPIRE’s iconic symbol, Archie, a 1952 Ford work truck. Introduced in 2011, Archie is named for their founder, Edgar Archer, and represents the Midwestern values that drive SPIRE. The introduction of long form testimonials allows the member’s voice to be heard louder than ever.
The SPIRE Values Winter campaign was born during a brainstorming session where the SPIRE marketing team asked themselves, "What do Minnesotans value most about winter?" From hockey rinks throughout the State of Hockey, to the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Ice Palace, the #SPIREvalueswinter digital campaign showed how SPIRE embraces Minnesota’s season of ice and snow. SPIRE’s presence with the Winter Carnival included the Grande Day parade, 17 days of activation in St. Paul’s Rice Park with the SPIRE music stage sponsorship and a Snapchat filter.
