SPIRE is proud to announce a new partnership with Como Friends, the nonprofit partner of the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory in Saint Paul, MN. SPIRE will be the title sponsor of the Sparky Show, a staple attraction that showcases Como’s seals and sea lions, originally launched in 1956. The SPIRE Sparky Show will be located within the recently renovated Como Harbor. The free program will run daily at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The zookeepers will wear SPIRE branded clothing during the shows; and Archie, SPIRE’s 1952 Ford Pickup, will be parked on-site from time to time.
“This partnership is very special to SPIRE. I, along with many other Minnesotans, have wonderful memories visiting Como Park Zoo & Conservatory as a youngster and now take my children there. I know people of all ages enjoy this regional treasure and will for many years to come,” said SPIRE President/CEO Dan Stoltz, “In SPIRE’s mission to improve lives and give back, we are grateful to partner with this organization.”
On May 7, the SPIRE Sparky Show will launch to the public at 11:30 am. Reservations are currently required for admission.
